FLOW is our most ambitious and exciting project yet. Driven by the desire and the need to connect with our audiences in new and meaningful ways. I am inspired by how our audiences engage with the songs, from people who have taken part in one of our flashmob choir performances, the performers in our 2018 Heartbeat Ballroom Project who created a music video featuring over 200 local people and the people who trust me enough to tell me their own stories at the end of a gig ...this trust and connection is what makes it all worth while so we decided to delve a bit deeper...

We are exploring creative flow, finding new ways of story telling through music.

Four diverse groups from our local communities are currently listening to 8 new songs in their demo form. Each group will pick two songs which resonate with them the most before working with award winning playwright, Laura Lindow to develop their responses into a story. The groups will then choose how to present their stories; dance, drama, spoken word, animation, anything is possible.

Later in 2021 the Flow will be passed back to us. Inspired by these responses, we will develop both the album (co-produced by Ian Stephenson) and a magical live show. Music connects with digital art and multimedia, giving life to these new stories, in an intimate, connected, and immersive new show where the Flow is passed on again to a new audience.

FLOW will be released and touring Spring 2022 and we are currently looking for venues to host this new storytelling experience.
